How to create a journeyfish

There are many ways to create a journeyfish. You can saw it out of wood, sew it out of some material, or screw it together out of metal...  There are no limits to creativity.
I always make them out of driftwood I find at the river or the sea. Perhaps because there already is the connection to the water.

Exhibition ‚Golden Autumn’ in Artcenter Coldam

from  Sept. 10th until Oktober 21th 2017

Gemma and Vincent from Kunstzentrum Coldam have invited me to take part in their autumn exhibition with the bottlemessage project.
As the fishes are on their way I will present a little photobook and several new fishes which are ready to go. Perhaps I can animate people, to take part in the project and so try to slow down a bit.
Also I will present some photocomposings with bottlemessages

Everyone who happens to be near Leer or Coldam is invited, to vome to the vernissage on sunday sept. 10th. vorbeizuschauen. As far as I know Vincent and Gemma kenne, there will be lots of interesting things to be seen.

Fish Nr 007 found as well

 "007-called them Rainbowfish and Swordfish. The bottle with the 2 beautiful fishes I found in Dormagen Piwipp .
It was today (the 4.5.17),at a quarter past 2 pm. I will send a postcard to Ninka.

That was the first mail that came in at the "journeyfish" mailaddress. Thank you very much Mrs. Gaber, Ninka will be happy to receive your postcard. And we are all happy as well that the second fish was found.

Congratulations Dora,

The first fis to be found was Fisch 011 made by Dora. She got a postcard from Domink (8), who found the bottle in Neuland Park Leverkusen on the shores of the River Rhein.
Thanks Dominik for your quick answer. Dora was very happy about it.
